Jonny is a lecturer in Information Technology at Victoria University’s First Year College, responsible for overseeing the academic delivery of first-year IT programs across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. He is also an active member of the Block Research Community of Practice, where he contributes to the innovation of IT pedagogy within the VU Block Model.

In addition to his academic responsibilities, Jonny is pursuing a PhD in Software Engineering for Healthcare at the HumaniSE Lab, Faculty of IT, Monash University. His research interests encompass Software Engineering for Healthcare(SE4Healthcare), Computer Networks, and Computer Science Education. Before transitioning to academia, he held the role of Global Network Delivery Manager at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services (now DXC Technology) and served as a Senior Researcher at Telekom Research & Development, a subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia.
