Jonny PJ Low

Jonny is a lecturer in Information Technology with First Year College, Victoria University. He is affiliated to HumaniSE Lab and Action Lab in Faculty of IT, Monash University working on his PhD research investigating Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health. Jonny’s research interests are Software Engineering, AI in Healthcare and Computer Network.

Having 15 years of professional experiences in IT industries, R&D and higher education, Jonny had co-investigated research projects related to biases in computer science education awarded by Google grant and hospital triage settings collaborating with Victoria Department of Health to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion. Prior to returning as academic, he was attached to Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services (now known as DXC Technology) as Global Network Delivery Manager and Senior Researcher with Telekom Research & Development (subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia).
