A lecturer / graduate researcher in the Department of Software System and Cybersecurity (SSC), Faculty of IT, Monash University Australia. From computer engineering specialised in computer networks background and having passion to ease our daily life through technology, Jonny is affiliated to HumaniSE Lab working on his PhD research to help our healthcare frontliner coping with mental health patients through software engineering. He is also working on research projects related to biasness in computer science education and hospital triage settings to promote inclusive environment. Jonny’s research interests are Software Engineering, AI in Healthcare, Bias in AI and Computer Network.

Jonny had experiences in different technical and management roles managing customer’s enterprise IT infrastructures for Fortune 500 companies back in Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services (now known as DXC Technology) as Global Network Delivery Manager. Then, he moved on as a Senior Researcher with Telekom Research & Development (subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia) where he analysed customer’s business use cases to deliver ideas through Proof-of-Concept projects for end to end solutions with the aim to improve service delivery operations before returning to university as an academic. A volunteer with IEEE and an adult leader with Scouts Victoria.
